“Absolutely beautiful.”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

This monastery is beautiful and the church itself is absolutely stunning - Baroque and covered with gold. The entire church is just breathtaking. Don't miss it.

“Simple on the outside but ... on the inside”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

A busy and slightly eerie interior make this monastery an interesting view. The entrance is slightly confusing but the guards are very happy to point you in the right direction.

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

I have seen endless churches, synagogues, cathedrals etc. in my travels -- This is not to be missed!! The simple exterior does not belie the extraordinary craftsmanship and artistry of the interior. If you like baroque - or can appreciate the church at it's most ornate - this is not bo be missed!

“Gregorian mass on Sunday”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Monastery was a great experience (hint - don't just walk towards the monastery, get a map and follow streets...) We enjoyed the Sunday Mass via Gregorian Chant. This was a unique experience. The chapel is small and was packed with attendees (go a little early to secure a seat). You can leave if you tire of the experience, but worth seeing. The wood carvings (all by monks) was amazing.

“Gregorian Mass!!!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We were there last sunday 10 am and 6 catholic priest was concelebrating a mass with gregorian chorus . For a catholic like my wife and me, it was amazing and beatiful, and a very rare episode, it is a uncommon in actual catholicism. Church is barroque in the interior and with a lot of carves and statues, a little dirty and with dust over them.
