You do not need a tour to walk along this iconic beach where you can rent everything you might need like: chairs and umbrellas. You can buy food at small restaurants or street vendors. You can buy hats, swim suits and towels.

One of the good beaches in the world.
We had a long walk from Copacabana to Leblon which was amazing, had fresh coconut water, and excellent food. There are lots of restaurants. Very busy but safe, good & reasonable rates in restaurant, very tasty sea food. There is mini market on both sides of the road, overall enjoyable Beach.

One of the worlds most famous beaches and it was exactly as I expected it to be. A vibrant place used by locals and tourists

Its a quiet place early morning but as the day moves on more people arrive so do the hawkers (they arent pushy), and the bars along the perimeter open, plenty of people playing volleyball and beach tennis. It wasnt too crowded when we were there but I imagine it can be.

Visited for just two days but the beach is the heart and sole of rio and outdoor living. The beach is nice a quiet 6am for a stroll by the sea, beach was clean and many people running along the dedicated run and cycle lane.
At the evening the beach is alive with people playing sports, training and visiting the beach cafes
Well worth a visit to relax
Leme beach front is also great and a little quieter
