Certainly this attraction is not cheap and it does not give the views that Corcovado does when going to the Christ statue, but you can't visit Rio and not go up here! Even visiting here during the peak carnival season, the crowds were manageable, possibly because we visited in the afternoon. we stayed to watch the sunset and my photographs show how awesome that was. Other than the views, there is not much else to do up here, There is an over-priced food and drinks outlet and souvenir shop and some short paths that go to the northern side of the mount, but the 360 degree close-up views you get of Rio are great.
