“Must visit this place”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We went up on a tram to the first rock. Then we took another tram to go to even higher rock. The view from there is unbelievably spectacular. We could see all the beaches and high rise buildings. Truly fantastic.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

For first time visitors, Sugar Loaf gives you a unique view of this lovely city. Yes, it is very touristy, but that is what Rio is all about.

“Great view of rio”
Reviewed March 28, 2013 via mobile

You can get great view of rio.
Not much to do there but kind of chill by the restaurant to watch sunset while you eat and drink caipirinha .
Very beautiful and clean.
Boutique shops and flip flop stores around if you wanna shop.
They have Mardi gras party at carnival time and it is great !

“Sugar Loaf Mountain”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We took the cable car up to the first mountain then another to the higher mountain. It was a little scary but worth the trip up there.

“Interesting”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Two cable cars have to be taken to reach Sugar loaf. The views of Sugar loaf can be seen on the ride up to it. The views from the top of Sugar Loaf are amazing. Rio looks absolutely stunning. No picture will ever explain the view.

The queue was bad! In the sweltering heat didn't make matters any easier along with the hundreds who had got off their cruise ships. You have to buy the tickets and then join the queue so make sure someone keeps a spot for you.
