This was our last stop on our trip to Brazil, and I'm thankful it was. It was the best hotel we went to, very clean, great service, good Wifi. The hotel also is sustainable and makes you place a room key in a slot so that it does not waste energy when you aren't in the room. Also the lights in the hall are motion activated to save energy, too. The breakfast on the rooftop is amazing-- great views. And the location is just a block from the beach!

Everest Rio is a great hotel. The view from my bedroom was very beautiful and they have a precious rooftop pool! Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was great and the service was very good. The WIFI was the best we had during the whole trip so that is also a plus if you are traveling on business. The best part is that Everest Rio is located blocks away from gorgeous Ipanema Beach.

Wow! Great location, large spacious rooms, and amazing views. What else could I have asked for? The beds were very comfortable but with Ipanema beach right down the block and a major shopping area two blocks away, who would even want to sleep?

Huge cockroaches! 8cm long! Staff at the reception were not surprised and unwillingly changed a room - this time for a damp one with a mouldy smell and without a desk lamp.

The rooms are expensive (BRL 500 per night) but tired, dirty and unpleasant, the stuff not very helpful.

Terrible experience!

Bathrooms, including rooms were very spacious. There were plenty of beautiful views from the rooftop.

The only complaint would be the miscommunication for an order of ice which never came after having to go downstairs to speak with the manager on duty.

Great location with multiple shops and restaurants just blocks away.

Rooms are modern, clean, and large. It is just one block from Ipanema beach and right on the main street with great restaurants and bars. The roof has great views of the beach and mountains. The breakfast spread is wonderful, with fresh fruits, pastries, and hot/cold options. Great hotel!

This was a beautiful hotel! The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms were spacious. The 360 rooftop was beautiful and the breakfast there was amazing. It is so close to the beach and I wish I could be there right now! The pool was cute-- not one to spend the whole day in, and plus there is so much more outside to see than to stay at the pool all day.
