Luciano Boseguia is the brain, talent and hands behind the fame of the Fasano restaurant in Sao Paulo and abroad.
His arrival from Italy, many years ago, brought taste and sophistication to that cuisine. It still has lived on such laurels, not up to the same standards, though, since Boseguia left.
But he has arrived in Rio.
He is the chef of the Alloro restaurant at Windsor Atlantica Hotel in Leme.
I have been there three times already.
Excelkent starters, from fritto di mare to minestrone, perfect risotti, his specialty, especcially the one with italian sausage, locely pastas, lamb, fish.
You should try one of the excellent desserts.
Good wine list with not so high prices and some good hints, especially from Italy (Ferrari, Negri).
I can only hope that Bosegui will stay.
