“A lot of fun and the best wait staff ever!”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

We went here on a Friday night with 8 of us and a 7:15pm reservation. Make sure to have a reservation as it gets extremely busy! Our waiter reminded me of a jazz musician from New Orleans and could not have been more pleasant or more of a joy to be around. I wish I remember his name. The food was different, quite a variety and very reasonably priced. We were right by the band and enjoyed the music and dancing the Samba. We left at 2am and it was getting busier! I heard the band and party will go until 6am somedays as long as there is people there. There are many floors and knickknacks to check out. A must for a trip to Rio.

“Fun!”
Reviewed January 28, 2014

Came here because it was highly recommended for first time visitors to Rio. Had a live band playing all night which was super fun to watch, there were people dancing the whole time. The place is three or four floors high and each floor can look down to the bottom floor where the band plays and everybody dances. Cool set up! As for the food it was average, nothing spectacular. Like the other reviewers mention it is mostly appetizer type foods, but there are some entrees too. Drinks were decent and depending on what you order they are nice and strong. We had a couple Caipirinhas, I had a berry Caipirinha which kicked my butt it was so strong, but my friend had two regular Caipirinhas and they were easier to drink but I'm sure they were just as strong. All in all, I recommend this place for first timers!

“What an amazing place!!”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

This place is absolutely amazing, weather you are in the mood just for dinner, or for dancing until sunrise. I went to this place on three different occasions and was impressed every time. The place has amazing character, brings in top notch artists and always seems to invite a very cute crowd. A must visit if in Rio.

“We did not get what all the fuss is about...”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

We went there after so many things we read online about this place that is the best in Rio, the whole world, and possibly the Milkyway.

The queue to get in was quite big, and only grew bigger as time went by since the place is very popular, so if you want to visit do so early to avoid the queue or book ( something we could not do for some reasson on the day went ).

The place is quite big, REQUIRES ID to get in ( we got lucky abd we got in with only our credit cards ), and has a weird way of doing business and paying with a sheet of paper that you get handed on the way in, and everytime you get something the waiter will put a tick on it, and you add all these on your way out.

Its nice but you have to carry with you a sheet of paper all night long.

Now the place,

The setting is nice on an old warehouse, there is space enough although it will get full, and the way its been on the design is quite retro and reminds of some Fridays stores around the world with old memorabilia placed all over. Its nice, but nothing you have not seen before.

The food selection is VERY limited (we were actually looking forward to eat there), and the food we tried ( shrimp past, and another past with basil ) were VERY mediocre, completely saltless and not something I would eat again, especialy for the asking price.... The salmon was quite good in their defence.

Drinks were ok, but still less potent than the average Brazilian drinks.

The place though clearly lacks identity.

Its marketed as a night club / bar, but you got live music or DJ, and you have kids running around, grandmas bumping on to you (no issue with either, but not the crowd you expect in a NIGHT club ), and the 3 stages play music the in theory ought to satisfy everyone but it does not.

We also found revolting the fact that even if you go in and EAT and have a bill for 2 people a bit over 300 Reis , you STILL are asked to pay 40 Reis each just for getting in.

Live music was ok but the overall experience was VERY mediocre.
