Like in every "kilo" restaurant, you take what you want to eat, like in a buffet, and then weight it on a scale. An attendant will calculate the price and update a ticket with which you pay before leaving. Nearly everything is at the same price per kg but for sushi and desserts (that cost more).
Being a buffet restaurant, food is nothing to write home about but it's relatively cheap and plentiful. They offer everything, meat, pasta, pizza, sushi, vegetables and desserts. When really hungry it's a great place to stuff yourself without spending too much (unless you opt for sushi and a lot of desserts).
There are more upscale (and pricey) options in Ipanema/Leblon if you want better quality. Bella Blu is pretty good nonetheless, especially if you are in Copacabana and don't want to take a taxi to Ipanema.
