If you are in Leblon you must have lunch here, small deli style cafe. This place has great food, great service but all Portuguese.
If you only speak English take the iPad to translate the menu.
I would eat here every day if I could.
Coffee is great also.

Talho Capixaba is a bakery, with a lot of options of breads, empadinhas, sandwiches and pastry. Is a very nice place to have breakfast and to buy food to eat on the beach. There's a little gluten free area.

It's something of an institution in Rio and so it should be. The sandwiches and salads are freshly made and excellent, the coffee is delicious, and their fruit juices squeezed to order. The ideal informal lunch venue

I love this place. The sandwiches are great and the coffee was freshly. The bread is amazing and it is impossible to eat only one

Went there today intentionally (from Copacabana), due to the rave reviews on TA as I love baked goods; however, both my husband and I were extremely disappointed. If you're in the area, sure, give it try, but don't bother going there if its out of the way.

Coconut macaroons were good, but the chocolate croissant and banana cake were both disappointing. Not sure why so many reviewers on this site talked so highly of the chocolate croissants, as they were dry and not even considered "average" in my opinion.
