I had read about this restaurant in lonely planet and it sounded just what we wanted, a local, casual place serving traditional Brazilian fare. And thats exactly what we got, the experience was lovely, we sat down and they didn't bring us a menu but just questioned us "feijoada?" and started bringout all the fixings for a lovely meal. In the end we had a wonderful experience but our guidebook (lonely planet "rio de janeiro city guide 2013) quoted the price as 50 reals per person about 25 dollars, however we ended up paying 75 reals per person about 37 dollars with service tax and 2 waters it ended up at about 90 dollars....now don't get me wrong, amazing food, amazing experience but quite pricey for what you get.
