Interesting restaurant perched on several levels/terraces in the Santa Teresa area of Rio. Our hotel was nearby so we walked and spotted the thatched roofs which you access by an initial lift.
The place has a lot of covers but was quiet and 5pm when we arrived. We got a great table with perfect views, and an attentive waiter.
The food is good but pricey. Two main courses, a basic bottle of Brazilian Pinot Noir and some water was £90. The mains are good-size portions and the fish particular good, although the okra was overcooked.
The place is so unusual (a tree grows through the roof of the tiled ladies toilet) that it is definitely worth a visit.
