Run by the original owners of Porcão, this steakhouse is a great place to meet friends & family and have a typical long lunch/dinner during the weekends.

Meat selection is second-to-none. Just fantastic. You can choose how your meat much (or how little) is cooked, you can eat as fast or as slow as you'd like.

There's no salad buffet in contrast with the typical churrascaria in Brazil but the quality of the meats makes up for it (and then some).

If you survive the meal, they offer very good desserts as well.

Service in my opinion is also a strong suit of Mocellin. Most of the staff has been working with the family for decades.

Highly recommended. A must-go if you are visiting Rio.

We’ve been to this restaurant for the first time and the food was great, the customer service was terrible though.
The head of customer service tried to fool us saying that one of the discounts offered through a third party website wasn’t available, but we made sure to call in advance to ask specific about this discount. After some back and fourth and some legal terms the waiter told us “I’ll do it for you” like he was cutting me a deal. B.S. you guys need to honor the offers you advertise.
Keep your eyes peeled in there.

This is a very well known restaurant in Barra da Tijuca and it is located in a very nice spot. This is maybe not a very good "tourist spot", as the level of English is low to non existent. However, the guys try their best and it is really not complicated. An all you can eat dinner is around 130R, including steak, sushi and any types of salads you want. You can order as much as you want of the salad and sushi and the steak is common "rodizio" style. They come to your table if you have a green card showing and don't come if you flip to the red side. I had no problems at all and truly enjoyed a great meal.

Went for a romantic evening as a couple and left feeling very dissapointed.
The staff does not speak english. Not even 2 words and don't even understand what you're saying.
It all started in the parking lot where they have "vallet" parking. Basically there is a man that comes to your car and speaks portuges. We stared at him, tried to explain we want to park and go inside the restaurant and he opened the door of the car and waved we get out. The parking lot was already full and in a city like Rio, to give your rented car to a stranger, without any tag on his shirt that resembled he is an employee, is a bold move.
Afterwards, the hostess showed us to our table. I asked her if the restaurant has vallet parking because someone took our car and she just smiled and left.
I was feeling really anxious by now and so the waiter came, not speaking even a tiny bit of english and shoved the menu in our faces (literally) and kept repeating "is included". The menu had no prices on it and he rushed us into ordering without understanding.
We received 2 salads and a water and waited for a menu with prices and someone who spoke english.
Other waiters were walking by with big plates full of meat and stopped by and asked us if we want a serve. We said "no" everytime.
Finally, the waiter returned with an english menu, again without prices and kept saying again "is included". It was mindblowing. I asked "included in what?" And he said "the price".
Pushed to my limits, i asked that we pay for the salad and leave. He said we couldnt do that and went for his superviser. He came back and charged us 100 R for 2 salads and a water. I was speachless.
This is the worst experience I had in a restaurant since I can remember. I cannot believe they have the audacity to fool tourists like this and basically steal they're money without shame.
It has such great reviews on Tripadvisor, I would have never imagined this could turn out so terribly wrong...

The Steak house, is one ot the most famous in the area Barra de Tijuca. And was a good choice, because in Brasil so many steak house, but is better to choose the most refine. The place a nice winery selection. And like Rodizio, is all you can eat, but have a ordered menu for the side dish, so they don´t offer a numerous dishes to get you full. The selection of meat is very nice, Rib Eye, Vacio, Picanha , Cordeiro, and the ambiance is very nice, with different area, for big group, for individiual, outside,inside. And finally you had the speach of the owner. A nice experience.
