I enjoyed the place so much because I know the story of his life, if I didn't know it, I would feel a little lost due to the little pieces of information we can find there. The house is in a very good condition and so are the objects which remain there. I recommend the place

Perhaps Santos Dumont is the most important brazilian for the world wide history, so an inventor like him deserve a better museum. The house is so small, but this isn't problem because Santos Dumont always said "Use only what you realy need". The problem is the museum doesn't allow to learn more about Santos Dumont's life, it's poor of information.

Small and cosy house. Just enough to live in a humble and happy way. The stairs make you start climbing with the right foot- always!. It was intriguing to know how much he learned and observed from the sky in a tiny observatory he built on the top of the roof. The Brazilian flag was at its top. This bedroom had a very simple closet and a working desk which turned into his bed at night by placing a mattress over it. Interesting...he was a very smart and lonely person. I did not know he had committed suicide. Thanks to him and his knowledge on aviation, which he learned all by himself and friends from France, we have his name as the first man to fly an airplane. And yes, he was a Brazilian!!!!!

We can have a hint of the genius the man who invented motorized airplanes was. However, we can also realize that he was a lonely person, as we can see how small rooms are. Not to miss

Really fascinating house. Definitely get a tour guide - one of the employees took us around for an hour for free - if you can as they add a LOT of really great additional information about the design of the house.
