Star early, hide yourself under some shade by mid day, better if you can get to the beach or swimming pool, and go aggain for a walk by late afternoon

Be prepared for very hot and humid weather, but each of the streets in the old town should be walked at least a couple of times, as light and sea tides change your view. Remember to check high tide hours as sea side streets are innundated.

Paraty is a very nice colonial place.
The architecture of the historic centre is very beautiful and has many place to discover.
We went there for the Carnaval, I've loved to do Carnaval in Paraty more than in a big city like Rio.
People are nice and the atmosthere is sweet.
Carnaval is not the best time to discover the city however you can visit some places

Paraty- an ancient town known for the goldtrails, the bays and the jungle.
Designed by a Freemason- regogniceable both by the layaout, and by the many Masonic signs on streetcorners and by signs around doors and windows.
Peaceful, nice restaurants and riendly people. Adviseable to spend a day and a night.
