Niterói Contemporary Art Museum (MAC Niterói) was designed by Oscar Niemeyer and its beautiful in its forms following Niemeyer`s curves and lines. The panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro, the Sugar Loaf is so beautiful. About the collection available during our visit I`m frustrated; nothing to say. Large spaces without anything with few artists and a exposition about Gaudi with some panels with information and photos easily available in Google. There are a restaurant with some good options (sandwiches or a complete lunch). You can expect to spend US$15,00 per person with a sandwich or US$40,00 having a lunch. If you are in Rio de Janeiro city there are some boats crossing the channel regularly (ticket : US$2,00) departuring from XV Square (close to Santos Dumont Airport, Rio de Janeiro downtown). In Niteroi you can use the regular bus 47B or a taxi paying US$6,00.
