This is more of s fish & Chips shop than a fish restaurant but staff know their stuff using the word chips rather than fries. They were nearly out of haddock so two small pieces of haddock were supported by one piece of cod.

Served in a plastic basket, you get your own ketchup and tartare sauce, salt and vinegar is on the table. Food was tasty but not of the portion size you get in the UK.

I was not expecting to find good fish in Wyoming, but this place proved me wrong. Three of us went in for fish and chips. You get to choose what kind of fish, which is unusual. I had ahi tuna. Soon, small baskets arrived. Despite the seemingly small size, the basket had more than I could finish. The fish was really good. Three good-sized chunks of tuna, cooked so it was still pink inside. The batter was wonderful and the fish was great, cooked perfectly. The chips were crisp outside, seasoned perfectly. The slaw was interesting. It is very simple, yet also very good. No onions or carrots and not sweet. Just a nice, fresh cabbage flavor. I have a few fries and a chunk of tuna left for dinner. I can’t wait!

Rocky Mountain Sea Food is an unexpected delight in the middle of the Star Valley, on the western edge of Wyoming. The sea food is fresh and cooked to perfection. My favorite is the seared ahi tuna, while my wife likes the fish and chips. The "chips" (fries) are superb as well, crisp, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. The staff is friendly, eager to please, and very attentive. A lunch for two will run between $25 and $30, depending on what you order, but it is well worth the cost! Don't miss this jewel - it is worth going out of your way to eat here!

Afton Wyoming is not where I think of for amazing sea food. But this place has got it figured out. The fish and chips are amazing and my fave is the ahi tuna. I’ve had sea food on the coast and in major cities and this place rivials them all. Well done Rocky Mountain
