I am a dancer, and from a dancer experience, I didn't like the show at all except the mexican part of it. It's not worth it!!!

Best meal here so far. Service was prompt and meat was fabulous. Dancing was a little hokey but great fun to watch and the tango part was simply amazing!

They have a dinner ticket for 50 reals or dinner and a show for 90 reals. The funny thing is that everyone gets to see the show. The extra 40 bucks just gets you a seat closer to the front and in fairness given how loud the show is your probably better off standing back and taking it in from a distance!

Yes this is a cliche tourist scene with a mish mash of local music dancing and cuisine, but what the hell you arent at the Gugenheim here. You are in rural Brazil to see the natural wonder that is the waterfalls so at night time when you want to grab a bite why not do it with some humor thrown in.

The food is ok and the buffet is huge so you are bound to find something or the other you like, the service is shaky but that is because the place is packed!

Taxi drivers get a free meal for bringing you here btw.

The food buffet is extensive and very varied with everything a person would want on his dinner plate. This is not a gourmet restaurant so the food is good - not excellent, and don't expect unique dishes.
The show is very enjoyable. Parts of it are amateur but fortunately those are few and the others are done very well. It's not too short, nor too long, and does provide one with an introduction to the different South American music, dance and dress cultures.
This is a big place and when filled up they do the show in two overlapping but not parallel sessions. If you want to have an early night - try to have them pick you up for earlier show which starts at 9PM if I am not mistaken. The second show starts around 10PM.

Yes, it is set up for the tourists and yes the show does mix a lot of average South American dance and song but as long as you approach it with these things in mind you should enjoy yourself. Go early just as it opens, you will get your selection of food without "hundreds" of people pushing you around, the meat while not being brilliant is passable and there are plenty of salads. If you are early, had your food, get yourself a drink and watch the pre show, - people watching as they get their food (sometime three plates at a time) dress sense, you have it, it almost rivals the main show. And then onto the show, get into it, you are not visiting the Sydney Opera House, there is variety, representation from the different south American Countries and just a show for entertainment.
If you are a connoisseur of food or music, don't waste your time, if you are looking for some evening amusement rather than sitting in your hotel, make an evening of it.
