This is a nice pousada in a great location - right by the bus station which goes to both the airport and the falls. The room was relatively basic but fine for our stay and reasonably priced. The guy on the front desk is very friendly and speaks good English. He arranged a taxi to take us to both sides of the falls in one day which was great as we only had one day in Iguassu. We wouldn't have done this without his help and advice. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of food. The pool area looked nice although we didn't get a chance to use it.

The town of Foz de Iguacu is a rather ugly place. The only, however absolutely overwhelming sight being the amazing waterfalls!!! This pousada has a really beautiful small garden, the breakfast is fine, the rooms are clean and the staff is really friendly! Good place to relax after spending time at the waterfalls!!!

The room is basic (we had to ask for things such as soap and new toiletpaper and the beds were not te best) but there were a lot of extra's and that's why we gave 4 star instead of 3:
- we had a large fridge in the room to keep our own drinks cold
- very cozy garden with very relaxing places to sit
- nice swimming pool, little bit cold but our children managed to swim in it!
- helpfull staff. They gave us a lot of information and advice about the different attractions. Not every one speaks English but hey I am not speaking Portugese... But even then they tried to help us.
- for dinner there is no restaurant in the Pousada but they are happy to call the Pizzaria or the Chinese for you to deliver some food (they even recommand some dishes). And they even provided the forks and knife's for us!

The Pousada has a very good location:
- just 1 minute walk from the busstation where you can find the buses to the main attractions (both sides of the the waterfalls and itaipu dam)
- 5 minutes walk to a large supermarket with a good bakery and there is also a nice kilo restaurant
- at the supermarket are several cash machines
- 5 minutes walk to a very good restaurant: Churrascaria do Gauchos
- opposite the Pousada is a small Zoo (free entrance), our kids liked this zoo. It is not very special, for adults maybe just nice for a walk.

If there is no one in the Pousada to help you in English you can always try the tourist information at the busstation. They speak English very good and they can give you a lot of information.

In the Pousada they have a small dog. We didn't know this before. Our children are very afraid of dogs so I don't know whether we had booked this Pousada if we knew this. But at the moment we told the staff that our children where afraid they immediately kept the dog away!! Very very good service!!

The Pousada has a laundry per kilo service. I hope the staff read this review too because the first time the laundry was ok but the second time (and we saw this when we already left) the laundry was not clean! So I hope they can keep an eye on this!

Beautiful pool and garden area, great breakfast, excellent service. Staff went out of their way to help us get the bus to falls on Brazil side, and a driver to the Argentina side. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, hammock, and excellent breakfast. Price was very reasonable. Definitely consider staying here when visiting!

Our stay here was very short – there was a lovely garden and communal sitting area but unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that the Pousada had clearly worked hard to achieve. The room was fine, basic but good value for money.

What really struck us though was how helpful the staff were, in particular, the male member of staff (a Douglas Adam’s fan!) who really helped make our tight schedule at Iguassu Falls stress free. Within fifteen minutes after arriving at the hotel he had a taxi booked for us and had briefed us on how to best utilise the rest of the day at the Brazilian side of the falls, and also the Argentinian side the following day. The following day he volunteered to book our overnight bus tickets and had them delivered to the pousada, which saved us a lot of time. He also advised us about the border crossing, where to get currency etc. ahead of visiting the Argentinian side of the falls, and then helped us to save money by pairing us up to share a taxi with a couple of other tourists who were following a similar agenda to us. Not only was he being tremendously helpful to us, but he seemed to be doing the same for a number of guests.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to visit the falls. The location is amazing, we arrived at the airport, took the 120 Bus to the central bus station and the Pousada is across the road from the entrance. We then used the bus both days to get to the falls which was really easy and saved us lots of money in taxis. There are also a few restaurants within easy walking distance and a supermarket to buy snacks/drinks. The hotel room itself was relatively basic, but very clean. We didn't receive maid service (not sure if we were meant to or not!) but we didn't enquire why. Staff speak relatively good English; enough to recommend restaurants, give directions & answer questions. The outside area is lovely... there is a pool, lovely seats to relax, a small gym and even a pool table. Breakfast was fine, breads, meats, cheeses, cakes, juices... normal Brazilian breakfast and is served from 7.30-9.30am. For the price charged, I would definitely recommend staying here. Wi-fi, breakfast & parking (if required) is included in the rate and the location is so convenient.

Nice, pleasant pousada. Set around central courtyard with pleasant, very small pool. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very friendly and polite. Well located for the bus station and easy access therefore to the Falls.
