“They didn't keep the promise for the wake-up call and taxi reserv.”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

It is located in central, but the window and wall are totally not noise-proof and you can hear every sound all night! For me, the most serious problem was that, they promised to give me a wake-up call at 3:30 and then a taxi reservation at 4:00, but they did not! This is a prolem!! The staff was just there and they never pay attention to you whenever you come to the front, and never smile. If you want to stay with a good mood, this hotel is absolutely not recommended.

Hotel seems to be located in the middle of nowhere. We were told we could walk to the shops a few blocks away, but having looked out in the street, didn't fancy our chances! I would recommend a taxi if you need to go anywhere.
Still, the Hotel was clean and the bed ok. The room was a good size and the bathroom fit for purpose. The water was hot and the room was cool. The aircon was quiet and I didn't hear any noise from outside in the street.
There was some kind of local party taking place on one night downstairs which was a little rowdy, but finished early enough thankfully.
The breakfast buffet was good and there was plenty of selection to eat. Lots of fruit and cakes.
The staff were friendly but had poor English though they tried their best to help when we needed anything. One lad there was great and eager to learn and help out and proudly gave us a tour of the hotel.
We needed some food to eat and there was no where near to get anything, hotel restaurant not yet open for the evening. We tried out the "room service", with a little help from the receptionist. Toasted cheese and ham sandwich arrived quite quickly - not sure where it was made. Seems to have been delivered from some other restaurant nearby. Have to say it was not the best, but if you are hungry enough it will fill a hole.
There is a reasonable sized swimming pool and a sauna, a pool table and a room with two bits of gym equipment in!
The area was a little run down and in need of a refurbish, but I believe this is being progressed and the Hotel expanded. The water in the pool was freezing! It was quiet though to relax in when the sun shined.
A reasonably priced stop over, but not somewhere I would want to stay for more than two days.

It was my first time in Foz, so I was pretty much anxious about it. The rooms were good, and that's it. Hot water was not that hot. Swimming pool was nice, but bedchairs were really uncomfortable. The hotel staff was there but you couldn't tell. I have only received a great attention for one guy I can't recall his name. He was the only one capable of speaking my own language and smile. Its a place I will forget as soon as I finish this review. Just a hotel like any other.

I'm staying there right now. I changed three rooms in two days. The first one did not have hot water. The second one had about 200 ants coming into the room by the side of the window. The third one, again, has no hot water. You also have to pay for internet.

Room Tip: Room 101 has an ant colony. Tried rooms 108 and 104 that do not have hot water.

The location is central, but there is a lot of street noise and dogs bark all night, so you had better be a sound sleeper. Breakfast buffet is perfectly adequate. Rooms are a little spartan, no shampoo or shower gel, no kettle.

Room Tip: Try for a room without a view!

The hotel has a great reception...it's a bit expensive for what I found...but it's clean , everything was working fine ...specially the air conditioner - very important having one in the room ! The breakfast was not that good...that's the only bad part. If you want to have a good meal , go to the argentine side...very pleasant and really worth it...very cheap and great meals , great wines too !! Use the local buses...they are not great , but are easy to get from the hotel ...taxis are really expensive...! Places to visit = cataratas do iguaçu and parque das aves - brasilian side ...Argentine side ...really great ! garganta do diabo is unforgetable...go to an animal refugee called Guira Oga....5km before the park . Definately will return to these places...but I guess I would choose an hotel at argentine side....because is cheaper....
