“Middle of nowhere...a double edged sword”
Reviewed May 26, 2011

Excellent place, friendliest people, no complaints except one: its in the middle of no where. Some may like that, but when the sun goes down at 7, you are relying on taxi's to go anywhere. The free bus stops at 6 and this hostel is out of town and far from restaurants and stuff

I loved Hostel Natura. It is located on the Brazilian side of the Falls pretty much in the middle of nowhere but that is what makes it so charming. The hostel looks like a hacienda- the reception area, bar and pool table are all open air. There is a pool and lake on the property but to be honest I wouldn´t swim in either. The entire staff is amazing. There is only one computer for everyone to share and although they provide wi-fi it was down the entire time I was there. I loved the ¨self-serve´ bar area. They also provide laundry service and provide tours to the Argentinean side of the falls. The only thing to beware of again is that there is nothing nearby so you are forced to eat at the hostel which can be a little bit pricey. I would recommend getting a cab from the airport instead of trying to catch the 2 buses it takes to get there...can be tricky if you are not familar with the area.

A little tricky to get to when using the buses which drop you off but still require some walking along a quiet but beautiful road. Staying at this hostel, you truly do feel you are at one with nature.

I was very pleased with the rooms, we booked a private room with a bathroom. I believe the rooms were recently renovated so everything was new and clean. I almost felt like I was staying at a 4-star hotel. A very pleasant experience, only complaint was the number of mosquitoes that had managed to hide in the room and come out to attack us when we settled in.

There is complimentary breakfast which is freshly cooked and prepared by the staff, very delicious with fresh fruits. Dinner is also affordable and generally buffet style for a decent price.

There is some entertainment available on the grounds like a pool table, books, free internet, foosball, and a pool area to swim or lounge. It actually is nice to sit by the pool area to watch the sunset. It's a large open area with fresh air and people also have the option of camping on the grounds.

Staff is helpful, they provide transport to the Brazil Iguacu Falls and can also book other tours for you.

This is definitely the best hostel I've stayed in while in Brazil and a place I would definitely rcommend.

What can I say? Awesome? or Awesome? or completely Awesome?

If there is only one place you want to visit in Latin America, make it this place.

People, food, location (although not in the center, in an area with good connections to the center), atmosphere all amazing. Never been to a hostel this great. The owner and the people working there are all very kind, cool, helpful and really know how to do their job. They make you feel welcome and you can spend a long time just chatting with people at the bar or playing pool. I can't say that this place feels like home, because it's better than home. All I can say is that everyday I'm not there and in every hostel that isn't this hostel I just hope I were here.

If your not too picky about being in the center of all the hustle and bustle, pick this place and get your moneys worth and even more. It's really close to the falls (Brazilian side). I can't say a bad word about this place, not one.

was a bit hesistant at booking this place because of its location outwith the main town on a farm but thought id take a risk. It really paid off! By far the nicest, most relaxing, chilled out hostel ive stayed in in 5 weeks in south america. It has a lake, a swimming pool, hammocks and decking, making it feel almost like a luxury holiday resort than a budget hostel. staff are really lovely and friendly (albeit a bit too laid back and take a while getting things done!) and the bar area plays really chilled out music and has a great bar. cant recommend this place enough

When i got to Hostel Natura i couldn't believe what Anwar had done with the place. It is the best hostel In the region.. Hands down!
The view is amazing.. nothing better than sitting on that bar deck with a nice cold beer in your hand and watching the sunset. The bar is amazing.. whatever you ask for they have it. Jonas (the bartender) is awesome.

The place has Beautiful views, surrounded by nature.. awesome lakes to swim in, they actually have winch boarding going on (lots of fun). A pool with the best view in the world... Free wifi, pool table, PS2.. you name it they have it :)

The food is amazing, Alda cooks the best food in the world! She makes the best picanha and brazilian hotdogs ive ever eaten! So you pretty much u have the best "room service" while your staying there.

Anwar is the owner of the place and he will go out of his way to help you in any way possible. Really awesome guy, super down to earth, speaks english thank god lol. he will make sure every person enjoys the hostel as much as Possible!

Overall, staying at the Hostel Natura made my trip to FOZ 10 times better than what i expected.

Definitely a must!
