I had a morning free so went here to have a look around. It was also "Social sunday" (first sunday of each month) which meant the entrance was free. It's a visually impressive building - some very long concrete cantilevers with a number of exhibitions rooms. Overall the place feels quite empty, but it's good as you can walk around very relaxed. The art inside varied from quite bizarre to relative mainstream modern art. I enjoyed it - you can do the whole place easily within 2 hours unless you are a very serious arty person.
Only minor disappointments were a) no viewing area from inside the "eye" (at least I couldn't find it) and b) the shop was very limited - I would have bought some prints/interesting bits of art if available for sale. Really it was just books, t shirts and mugs for sale.
