My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitaly recoment the Hotel. I would go back again. bedroom and breakfast was very good. the only down side is that there is no parking but in another hand it is located in the centre, near most torist areas.

Hotel is nice and new, uses an old convent from the Catholic Church. Room was nice facing the pool, not luxurious but very clean and nice. Some small engineering problems like light switches far from bed and you can't reach without getting up, but otherwise nice. Only problem I had was the very strong perfume in the room. Had to keep windows and door open to help with the crazy perfume smell.
Staff very nice, breakfast was ok. I Recomend this place.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building, very tastefully renovated.
The pool area is lovely and refreshing.
Staff at the front desk were most helpful: arranging excellent local tours and other issues dealt with very flexilbly
Although the area around the hotel is not the best, there is a beautiful safe park next door with a top restaurant in it. the park is safe to walk in.
My only complaint is that, given that we were told not to walk around, it would be good if the restaurant offered a more casual menu for day times. The day menu was the same as the fancy evening a la carte menu, which was not what we wanted for a light snack in the middle of the day.
Also, it seemed a bit cheeky for the hotel to charge $5R for a small bottle of water from the mini bar, given that we couldnt walk around to find a local shop.

Atrium Hotel is located in a very nice part of Belém - the old town. The building is old and very beautiful. The decoration has many symbols of the local culture that makes the environment rustic and chic. Restaurant service is very nice too, with interesting options of Brazilian cuisine. A problem, however, is the team. Some employees do not seem to understand that they are at the service of the customers' well-being. A recepcionist (Talissa) to whom a guest ask to call another guest and say this one is not answering, without call, definitely, did not understand what is she doing in that function. So, Atrium needs to qualify better its team.
