Very close to downtown - only 5 min by taxi or 20 min by walking - the Mangal has different environments where the visitor can see plants, birds, butterflies, orchids in a very clean and well preserved site. Also there is a tower - called lighthouse - reached by an elevator where you can see the city from the top and have a better idea of the relation between the waterways and the land. There is no fee to enter, only small amount for the butterfly greenhouse and the tower. Citizen over 60 years don't pay. Finally there is a very good restaurant, in a buffet system for lunch, with many local options - mainly fish.
