This was our second hotel as we had originally booked the Ibis Budget in central Belo Horizonte, the hotel arranged a taxi for us from the Ibis, as we were going on a day trip to Rio, once we had been dropped off at the airport the taxi took our luggage that we did not need for our day trip directly to the Piemonte.
The room was big enough for 3 of us, two double beds and a double sofa bed. Table with a couple of chairs too. Our rooms were on the 8th floor with great views of the surrounding countryside
Self service buffet style, 4 hot dishes - scrambled eggs, fired sausage, sausage in a tomato sauce and streaky bacon
Depending on the time of day, the receptionists either spoke very good English or very poor.
It cost about 34 Brazilian Real to get to the bar district in Savassa (roughly £10) each way
The hotel had free wifi, however, the signal regularly gets lost.More
