If you are visiting the Park of Biribiri, go to this amazing village!
It was created end of XIX century around a textile industry, that meanwhile went bankupt. This village has houses with little gardens & orchards, a school, a church: everything that was needed for the workers of the industry. When it went bankrupt, the place was completely abandoned. Only recently a few houses have/are being sold, to transform this vilage into a touristic/cultural center of the region's traditions. There in one good restaurant "Raimundo sem braço", serving regional local food. The restaurant has arranged nicely tables with parasols & benches around the grass square, the gathering point of the village. From there you have an overall view of the village: an oasis of peace!
