We stayed at the Hotel Sol for two nights, each night separated by four nights on a trip to Tiradentes and Ouro Preto. On each occasion the staff we exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The rooms were well sized with all the usual hotel amenities. The first night it was great, quiet and cool and we slept well. (Pillows are rather hard). The second night was a disaster. It was hot and stuffy and the outside street noise penetrated the room and made sleep difficult.
Breakfast was better than Latin American average.
