We happened to see La Parisienne after having a very bad coffee in a cafe nearby where we didn’t see anything nice to eat. As we entered La Parisienne a delightful young Brazilian lady (who we think owns the business with her french husband) greeted us to tell us that unfortunately the whole street had a power failure so they couldn’t make us coffee.
Seeing their amazing display of bread, quiches, croissants etc we asked whether they could still make us a sandwich or any other food. She carefully walked us through the menu to say what they could prepare.
We chose La Americane sandwich - it was so tasty- made with their own delicious bread and with tasty cheese, ham and fried egg and a fab dressing it was just perfect.
We got chatting and explained that we were looking for information on tours of the Pantanal, next thing she had called a friend of hers who was a tour agent and passed us the phone to get some advice.
Inspire of the issues they were experiencing with their power failure she was still primarily concerned with delivering amazing customer service.
If only we were staying longer - this could have become our regular coffee stop.
Try this place - for great service, amazing french food and a really comfortable french feeling ambience - you won’t be disappointed!!
