“Very good, well located, a little bit expensive for a Mercure.”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

Very good Mercure with nice equipped rooms. Well located, nearby city centre, and close to other very good hotels.
It has 24 hour room service and a restaurant, although there is some restaurants and diners on the other side of the street.
A little bit expensive for a Mercure. If you don´t need the extra room space or the room service I recommend staying at Ibis on the same street.

We are her now. Last year we were so poorly treated by a select few staff at Papillion Hotel we moved to Castro's to escape. Castro's was pretty good, better bath there than Mercure (no tub in the room, but large shower) and no pool here but Castro's has a nice pool area. This hotel feels newer and that is a plus. The A/C works great, also a plus. Lunch was pretty good, as well so was room service dinner, cost OK. Large floor to ceiling windows makes the room feel much bigger and view of a modestark also freshens the stay. Internet is impressive and free, as good as US which is difficult to find anywhere. Bed comfortable as well pillows too. Quite except for some road noise. Staff is trainable to our likes and dislikes when they are instructed. Remember to bring an adequate converter for electrical. We had some problems charging our laptop which hotel staff helped to resolve. We will return here on our next visit.

The Mercure Hotel in Goiania is located in one of the best areas in town (Republica do Libano Avenue).
This is a brand new hotel and that was just inaugurated a few months ago.
My wife and I loved the rooms with the flat screen TVs.
The design of the hotel is very trendy. The air conditioning works great for some of the hot days in Goiania.

The Coralina Restaurant is also a highlight of the Mercure hotel. The food was very good! We had dinner there one night, and we loved the service and the trendy crowd that was present.

This is the best hotel in Goiania! If you’re comparing with the Castro’s hotel, you would see that Castro’s is old and outdated.

I’m was glad to see a new hotel in Goiania! And on the next trip, we definitely plan to stay there again! Cheers!
