Room is fine and big, service is good and the location is excellent for business travelers in Brasilia. The restaurant is very good for business lunches and the bar is cosy for happy hours. The hotel is expensive overall, but still aligned with Brasilia's pricing standards, which is really high.

I stayed here for 2 nights as a base for exploring Oscar Niemeyer's architecture and have no real complaints.

The 1 bedroom apartments are definitely spacious enough, however it was disappointing not to have a bath included in an 'apartment' style room at this price as I had been staying in a hostel in a favela and was looking forward to some luxury.

The rooms are definitely starting to look a little tired, particularly the shower which had a small amount of mold in the corners. The bed however is incredibly comfortable, along with the pillows.

The reverse cycle air conditioner can be a bit unpredictable and spent both nights going between freezing cold and boiling hot even though I was only changing the temperature by a couple of degrees each time.

The breakfast and room service were both average at best for the high prices that paid.

The staff at the front desk were fantastic, easily one of the best parts of the hotel. One staff member in particular (wish I could remember his name), went completely out of his way to help me out when I was trying to change a flight. The website kept translating into Portuguese and eventually he sat with me and helped translate the entire page. When I couldn't get my flight changed and had an afternoon spare he gave me suggestions with what to do with my afternoon including putting me in a taxi and speaking to the taxi driver on my behalf.

The hotel was pricey for American standards but after multiple stays at several different hotels in the area I feel this is the best hotel in Brasilia - the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast decent. Great location - one caveat, its proximity to the new soccer stadium means that when there are games, concerts or events happening you will not be able to fall asleep. The hotel echoes the sound and it becomes quite loud in the rooms.

Expensive hotel, as all in Brasilia, but good location. Big rooms, nice and clean. Internet wifi works properly. Breakfast is just excellent. If you are in Brasilia for 1 to 3 days, I recommend this hotel, where you can stay and relax.

Hotel cleanliness was excellent, staff very nice, the breakfast buffet and made to order items plentiful. The rooms were plain but clean and maintained. Internet connectivity was excellent. did not have any issues except user error in which case the nternet helpdesk provided quick assistance. Short walk across the street to the TV Tower and adjacent artesian vendors.

The Melia Brasil 21 is a good, solid work hotel populated with lots of government types. The place is a bit sterile and seemed to attract a working group when I was there (for work)
The gym is a commercial gym attached to the hotel that you have access to and is a bit of a meat market. The breakfast was plentiful and the hotel has a lot of helpful staff. The room was standard and very nice, clean, quiet, etc. I would stay here again for work. The price was a little steep, but worth it for what I needed to do quickly in Brasilia.

There are no really great hotels in Brasilia and this hotel has a good location in the centre of the city so it is probably one of the best. The rooms are not great. They need renovation. And the hotel feels quite simple for the money they charge. There are still some staff even in the reception who don´t speak English.
