This really is a surprisingly under-represented or commented place to eat in the Asa Sul of Brasília. Most people associate it with its delicious chocolates - made from dark Belgian chocolate as prime material, as far as I know. But there's much more than meets the eyes at this "bistrot".
They are one of the few places in Brasília that really know how to make delicious dishes with fresh mushrooms - my daughter, who's really picky, just adores their cream of multiple mushrooms. And my son, who is visiting from the US, loved it, too. And he almost cried with a new dish, which I hope they keep on their menu, which reminded him of some of his favorite Mexican recipes: a absolutely heavenly chicken with slightly spicy dark chocolate sauce.
And their desserts? How can one not try every single one, though I particularly always enjoy their diet chocolate mousse. It's sinful!
As for drinks, they make their own tasty peach or lemon ice tea.
I'm not sure I exaggerated a bit for this place to get its due credit, but I feel extremely confident in that people with good taste will appreciate the options at this eatery.
By the way, I recommend sitting in the upstairs area. Though it is close to the bathrooms, which have very discrete wooden doors, tucked away into the wall, it is quiet and with really nice background music, just a place to relax to the great food. One does have to check if they have waiter service for upstairs, though, as that is not always the case.
The waiters (or waitresses) at this restaurant are not the fastest in the world, but they are very nice to customers and I barely remember them making mistakes on the orders.
