I have always loved this place for the variety of not-so-easy-to-find meats (goat, mutton), farofas and some of the sweets. But as prices keep on going up and quality - as well as variety - declines I would think twice before recommeding it to anyone.

I might still drop by once in a while, since there isn't anything much like it in town, but it has definitely changed for the worse.

And be sure: if you are just looking for a nice per kilo buffet and not specifically for the Northeastern specialties go look elsewhere.

I disliked this place the first (and last) time I was persuaded to go there. Huge barn of a restaurant, more like a workers´ refectory. Masses of food northeastern style self-served.Some of it is quite delicious, but I was put off by the quantities and the other diners. Loads of children running around on weekends. Not particularly cheap either (I think the food is probably still sold by the kilo).

In this restaurant you have the opportunity to try some delicious dishes from the brazilian northeast. They weight your food and you pay according to this weight. It has a nice decoration and a great view of the Paranoa Lake and the Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge.

It's a huge restaurant (up to 1000 people) in a very pleasant place with an astonishing view of the lake. The buffet is probably one of the biggest in Brazil with many varieties of food and deserts.
The price is a bit high but it's always full after 1pm, even with waiting list.
The decoration is very peculiar and despite its size, there is air conditioner inside and a good parking lot.
