About a 15 minute drive from BSB airport - or a short UBER ride, the Brasilia Royal Tulip Hotel was very welcoming and provided a very cheap (R$15 a day) Valet parking service. The front desk were welcoming and efficient and provided us with all the information that we needed. We got a nice room facing the pool and lake on the 5th floor with good views and it was quite quiet. The room was well-apportioned and had all the amenities that you would expect, the only downside in our opinion was the lack of English-speaking TV channels. The facilities are good here, in particular the swimming pools which in my opinion are the best in Brasilia. Gets very busy at weekends but is peaceful and quiet during the week. In the evenings if you are very lucky the pool area is visited by Capyvaras which are big rat-like animals and very friendly. The bar and food service at the pool is good and the staff are friendly (although struggle with speaking any English so make sure you take your phrase book if you are not Brazilian!). The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food and drink is very good.

The Old Bar where we ate in the evening is very popular both with hotel guests and visitors and serves very good quality food and some lovely wines.

All in all a great base and good value for money if you are in Brasilia for business or pleasure and despite what previous reviews said, we found the wi-fi exceptionally good.

Room tip: Lake view, high floor.

We were on a business trip, with my family. I chose the hotel because it is a resort thinking it would be good with kids. It is a beautiful hotel, lovely architecture and decor. The room was big, comfortable and quiet, with views to the lake. Service was friendly, breakfast very diversified. It could improve a bit in its children service.

A nice resort hotel on the lake
Good service friendly staff, BRAZILIAN breakfast no vegetables, good fruits and a lot of brasilian cakes
WiFi is very poor, don’t even try to watch Netflix
Nice swimming pool
Nice views From the room and outside
Ask for room with lake view

If you come for a Business trip and need good internet this hotel is really bad several times the internet is not working and when you call the frontdesk they can’t speak English properly and they just say its the internet provider that is the problem well you better change it since you can not work with a lousy service provider

We've stayed for 3 nights during Christmas eve. Our room was very spacious, quiet, comfortable. The space was divisive on living area and room. A great pool and lake view front our balcony. There are good restaurant, kids space, Bar, Spa and lovely staff.
