Reception: Excellent, prompt and friendly service at the front desk.

Room: The bed was very comfortable. There was some road noise but we always carry earplugs to handle that, so it was a non-issue.

As with more and more hotels these days, the main bed covering is a heavy duvet that makes sleeping too hot unless one removes the duvet and/or adjusts the thermostat up or down as needed; it is a nuisance to have to keep making these adjustments in the night. (The way to handle this is to put the duvet in the closet and then work out an optimal temperature setting for the night.)

Quibbles: The bathroom has a funky, square, shallow sink that is raised up off the countertop and does not drain quickly. The lighting in the bathroom is OK for a man's shaving but not so good for a woman doing her makeup.

Breakfast: The quality of the offerings on the breakfast buffet was outstanding; the staff person overseeing the buffet was very helpful and took good care of everyone.

Bottom line: This is a good place to stay for a couple or for a woman traveling alone; the staff members make one feel well attended to; and the location is convenient. My wife and I have stayed here multiple times, and she regularly stays here on business several times every year, so this review is a composite based several visits, including her latest visit in November. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend it to friends and family.

Room Tip: Do try the breakfast buffet. Noise is average for all hotels we stay at; we find it is always a good idea to carry earplugs in case needed.

Very nice room, good food available for breakfast. HVAC pretty quiet, TV a bit small, but we weren't there to watch TV. Bathroom very nice, sink a bit high for the littler ones. Good hot water and no scalding or freezing spikes when in the shower. Nice covered drive-thru entry if its raining, which it was when we were leaving. Very nice people, and very near the highway for easy access. Quite clean, and modern.
NO SMOKING EVERYWHERE - BEST FEATURE OF ALL.

Room Tip: Ask about Lawrence University rate if you can verify you are going there to visit your kids, or see the school, which we were doing.

The staff here is great. We were in town for a wedding and needed and extra room last minute and they went out of their way to accommodate us even on a Packer home game weekend. Troy and Tia are Awesome!

I was lucky to get a room here on the weekend of a Packers game. It's a convenient location with a jacuzzi, pool, and contemporary style room and restaurant. I will stay there again the next time I'm in Appleton.

First time at a Cambria & if this is their normal, I'd definitely stay at another. Either new or very updated hotel - modern look/furnishings throughout from the lobby to the rooms to the pool/workout area. The pool/hot tub area was VERY small, but I was the only one in there so perfect for me. The whole room was perfect - very comfortable bed/pillows, excellent bathroom w/ great shower, & separate sitting room so there was plenty of space.

All staff - check-in, check-out and the small bar/restaurant area were excellent. All very friendly. I received a coupon for a free drink that I could either use at the bar at night or for a coffee in the morning at the coffee bar. Nice. Breakfast wasn't included, but they had a really nice hot breakfast buffet for $9-10 w/ eggs, meat, juice, yogurt, granola, fruit, etc. Plus you could have them make you an omelet that was included in the buffet price. Very good.
