A real find in Appleton. Easy walk to downtown and restaurants, and especially a lively host and hostess that clearly reflect a sunny and inviting B&B. I particularly liked the colorful room and the real home cooked breakfasts.

Carole and Gordy were waiting for us on their front porch. After getting to know each other a bit we toured the house. It is amazing! The decor fits the house era...I loved Carole's hat collection and her artistic touches throughtout the house. We stayed in the Victorian featherbed room that is warm and cozy. The next morning we chatted with Carole and Gordy as we ate our delicious breakfast. Can't wait to stay again.

Room Tip: The victorian featherbed has it's own outside enterance and full size bathroom.

Had 2 fondue pots on our table. Filled w/ chicken broth then added all the cheeses. Gave everyone in our party different colored handles on our forks so we would know whose food it was in the pot. First had appetizers, then salad. Brought broccoli, carrot, mushroom caps which we threw in the pots. Slotted spoons took them out of pots. Then, shrimp, pork, chicken, and beef. Last but not least, we were able to pick what kind of sauce we wanted in the pots. Opted for choc. W/nuts and bananas foster in the other. We needed wheelbarrows to wheel us home! Lol

The house and the hosts are amazing. It was worth every penny. Drive out of your way if you have to. You won't be disappointed. The house is decorated to the nines with unique antiques and custom artwork.

Thank you so very much for hosting us. You both are so caring and have exceptional attention to detail! The glass, decorations and quilts are exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful too. The talents that both of you employ with your art additionally is amazing
