“Great location, but too much success - gotten snobby”
Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic location, but there were ants in our room, and although all the staff was very service minded, the front desk was maybe the most rude I have experienced in brazil (lived here for 9 months).

Still I would recommend this place - just try and minimize time with the front desk and then enjoy the sunsets

came here to end our Honeymoon in Brazil

first off - i would highly recommend Brazil as a honeymoon location (if ur looking to feel part of the scenery rather then be gated in a resort). Brazil offers varied experiences from touristic, party-driven beaches, to nature hikes to hidden layed-back jems. and everything with the Brazilian atmosphere. only down sides are prices (depending on the strength of your home currency) and distances from place to place.

now for the hotel - in one wording - AMAZING. great location (in my view much better than the other "luxury" hotel in jeri). nice staff, rich breakfast, right on the beach.
this was the only hotel in Brazil that took heed of our "honeymoon" comment in the booking, the room was laden with flower petals, towels sculpted as loving swans and a chilled bottle of champagne. if for a cynic like myself it gave a great feeling
for a couple traveling on a budget, was certainly worth the "investment" (and it is quite an investment)
one thing to 'warn" from - Jeri is pretty secluded, so electricity relies on solar panels, so get your evening shower on early. trying to shower after 9PM (after the whole hotel used up the hot water) was not the most pleasant experience

Room Tip: anything with a sea view...

This hotel is situated right in the middle of town, on the beach. The location is great. All the shops and restaurants are close, plus there is a nice large beach area with lots of lounger chairs and a restaurant. Breakfast is served on the beach, which is the perfect start to a day on vacation!

The hotel grounds are extremely well kept. I was impressed with the attention to detail, seeing the pools cleaned regularly, etc. there are two pools, as well as a jetted tub, all very nice. One pool has a great shallow area to lounge, or for small children to play.

The rooms are quite nice and spacious. We stayed in the standard room. It was not extremely luxurious, but if you are used to North American style chain hotels, it is similar.

My only complaint was during the last night a strong sewer smell developed in our room. I don't know if it was resolved, as we checked out that morning, but really, you can't expect to go anywhere in this country without the occasional whiff of sewer. Also, for someone who is accustomed to lounging in a hammock, I was surprised to find not a single hammock hook in the hotel.

We loved our trip to Jeri, and this hotel along the beach was the best location . We had the beachfront family room which was awesome in the morning as we could step from bedroom to beachfront but the room itself needed some change the design and facilities were a bit tired and their was a persistent bad smell.
The staff was great and we enjoyed breakfast and snacks at the hotel restaurant but the food was better outside the hotel .
Pools were nice but also needed some attention as they were beginning to get worn.
All Jeri is a great trip and the hotel a very nice choice

This was our honeymoon hotel and it didn't disappoint, great for honeymoon.
The location of Jeri is the appeal 40 minutes from the bus drop off, into the sand dunes, bumpy ride in the dark, come into a little tourist town and pull up to our hotel, it looks great from the outside. The room had been decorated with flowers for us and they left champagne on ice, very nice touch. The room was a little compact and the bath room was also a little on the small side, we had little ants in our room, but you just live with them. The swimming pools are amazing and we felt the were like were just open for us, we may have been lucky when we went as it was busy. The resort is just off the beach and is great, only downside is the staff could clean the sunbeds each day.
The breakfast is ok, good selection, but all the food is in the open and not behind any guards, which I personally don't like. The one and only lunch we had was below par and we didn't eat in the restaurant again, it was over priced and poor quality and you got your food before your drinks, which we asked for three times.
The waiting staff we experienced was poor we asked for service to be taken off the bill. The one and only time we got asked for drinks around the pool, we finally got them after 45 minutes??? They are missing a trick as staff should be asking if you want drinks most of the day.

Basically hotel fantastic, but waiting staff is poor.

After a long trip for getting to Jeri this hotel is an oasis. Great location, helpful staff and nice facilities.
They pay attention on every detail, including rose petals on the bed when we arrived. My girlfriend loved this actually.
Go there, relax and enjoy the magical Jericoacoara.

Best place I have ever been, no doubt! Location is premium as you have direct access to the beach through the lounge area and restaurant. Inside the hotel deco, flowers, nature and all facilities are a ten out of ten. Colourful, delicate, user-friendly and lovely maintained. Both swimingpools are extremely relaxing and whole crew of staff are non-stopping all day taking care of all details and being tremendously warm. Rooms are ver sweet and on arrival they impress you with a lovely bed and towels full of cute flowers. Some mornings they surprise you with new flowers. Breakfast is very rich and location is fantastic as the views are right into the sea through their great trees. Restaurant is also excellent, food is delicious and customer service also best ever. It was my husband' s birthday and they did for me a lovely bouquet of flowers, they are clearly on every single detail to make your stay unforgetable while providing awesome service.

Room Tip: Rooms with views to the garden and main swimingpool are excellent. We have been also in room 215, an...
