i´ve passed wonderful days at myBlue hotel. all of the staff are kindly and careful and the location is excellent, in the centre of Jericoacoara but with all the nature of this magic place (and the breakfat on the beach it´s unpayable). i´m felt so good that i recommend this hotel like the best hotel of brasil!

Unfortunately it's true that it's the most expensive spot, but certainly not comparable with hotels of this price category in bigger cities. It's simply all that a small village with no proper road access can come up with... Especially in terms of managing staff at the reception:
When we arrived and they did not find our booking immediately, all we were told was: "Well obviously you have no reservation, we cannot accommodate you." After endless discussions between them and our tour agency (called "Enseada", which by the way we would not recommend either) they "found" the reservation and summarized the mess by saying "Well this is Brasil, you cannot expect the same as in Europe". Although we rarely experienced that during our 3 months traveling in Brasil - for My blue Hotel she sadly is absolutely right. So watch out before spending the money.
If you go there for exploring the area without spending much time in the hotel anyway, one of the several other cheaper spots will do for sure!

Room Tip: Category "Deluxe" means a tiny balcony facing the garden.

tank you for the review . I understand that it is not nice to arrive in reception and not find your room but to avoid this problem you have to choose a good agency. The hotel does not confirm your reservation to the agency but the agency confirm to you ,This was the problem . so please complain whit the agency . About the price the mybluehotel is not the more expensive of jericoacoara as you can see from any booking site but for sure is the more valuable for the position service etc etc I think that is normal that a sand village in a national park of dune is more expensive than a city like fortaleza but anyone can choose what to like

I spent a week there with my family. It's a really nice hotel, strategically placed in the city (although it's a tiny tiny town), but undoubtedly the best and most confortable place in Jericoacoara. The garden and swimming pool are beautiful, it's really close to The Sunset Dune, which people climb everyday to watch the sunset, and it's got great food. There are a couple of minor reasons why I didn't rate this a fiver. Breakfast is served on the beach, stepping on sand, which is no huge problem for me, but might be for some people. There are a lot of flies buzzing around too. Nothing unbearable, but still, they could try to deal with that. Also, I stayed in a room with two kids, who got the best beds. The third one (mine) was too soft a little small for me, but that was all they had available. Which goes to show that they have no vacancy, even in winter. Wifi connection is great anywhere, the beach is nice, and it's pretty close to very good restaurants. Hope to have helped.

Room Tip: Rooms right in the middle are quieter: far from both the beach and the front desk.

spent a week-end with my family.
The location is gorgeous as it is on the beach of jeri, thus no need to add other comments.
The first room had some issues with the furniture and the staff was fair enough to propose a change.
The restaurant has a wonderful outlook on the beach, but there are too many small and nice sparrows fligying all around. They are continuosly trying to eat the crumbs fallen from your table, on the long distance this may be disturbing.

This is definitely an inn in which one must stay, even if only for a night.

The garden and swimming pool are terrific, and if you pick the room with garden view, be sure to be on the first floor to enjoy the stars and wind blowing against the coconut trees at night! Beautiful lights surround the garden in the evenings, and if you have your meal in the balcony you can get the friendly company of an iguana!

Try sitting by the beautiful restaurant by the beach late at night while admiring the nature by your feet, and wait there chit-chatting to the friendly security guy until the sun rises. Walk towards the dune and experience nature penetrate your soul.

An unforgettable experience!

Room Tip: Do not even try asking for an upgrade during low season, you will end up asking in vain as the front...

Great rooms, awesome location, sweet swimings pools kind service and tremendous value for your money. Not that it's cheap, but we visited others and putting everything in the balance this hotel is really really awesome. Big breakfest included is delicious. Tapioca, pancake, scrambled egs, croissants, fruits, juices...everything!!! Only little thing is that maybe getting a 2nd floor apartment may be better not to hear neighbours on high heels walking :)
