A friendly, relaxing guest house. The owner, Esteban, is from Argentina so if you don't speak Portuguese, Spanish will do nicely---he also speaks some English. Who needs all the mod cons of the posh places when it has all the basics that one requires---hammocks, ventilator fans, cleanliness, a good breakfast and a fridge to keep your beer cold! There are dozens of other pousadas in Jeri but so far, this is the only one listed in Hostelworld so it is nice and easy to book a room.
As probably the only non-windsurfer in all Jeri, I still found enough to do, as the scenery around the village is impressive. Also when I was there at the beginning of December, there was a music festival called Choro Jazz which looks like becoming an annual event so besides the ocean, Jeri has some culture as well!
