...but please, stop using garlic on everything - the only thing without was beer :-)
And we asked to avoid it...
Anyway, prawns are outstanding, Rede do Peixero is very good, prices are ok. The setting is very nice too, sea view, wooden.
Always one of my favorites, all over Brazil.

OMG, this is place is out of this world. We had prawns, rice and cheese. The prawns were big and juicy with tomato salsa, steamed rice to and cheese sauce. The starter was fried Brazilian pastry with catupiry cheese it was an amazing, highly recommend this place, worth every single penny.

I have to say that Coco Bambu serves one of the best dishes of sea food I have ever eaten! The "international shrimps" (Camarão Internacional) are absolutely amazing and one month after the visit, I still cannot forget them. But keep in mind the policy of the resaurant, which is: give too much!! Most of the dishes are served for AT LEAST two people (and even so they have a hard time eating everything). It is quite painful to leave so much delicious food go to waste...
Caipifrutas are good and ambient is nice, a bit crowded for my taste, and the waiters are super busy, so the service is not A+. The prices for a dish are not that cheap, but if more people share it, they are ok.
All in all, I definitely recomend this restaurant, especially if you are a seafood fan (they serve other things as well, though) and if you are not alone... You won' regret it!

This restaurant is advised to visit and the reception of the hotel and the taxi drivers.
The first disappointment - prices, they are noticeably higher than in the restaurant "Nostradamus" Grand Marquis hotel where we stayed, and 4-4 times higher than in restoranahna Avenida Beira Mar.
Next disappointment - maritime dish in Italian. It was not claimed garlic and pasta was just overcooked.
And finally, the change we have to wait for 25 minutes!

I'm an American citizen who has been living in Brazil for the last 17 years, and this ranks as one of the best if not thee best culinary experiences I've ever had in my life. Mere words and 5 star reviews do not do this place justice.

The food is nothing short of exceptional. The service is outstanding and there's little if any wait. The atmosphere is a bit crowded but once you have your plate of food in front of you, nothing else will matter.

If you are a foreigner coming to Brazil for the World Cup or just vacationing, you have to stop here at least once.

One thing I cannot stress enough is the size of the portions. We ordered a dish for two people that could have easily served 4 very hungry people. Keep this in mind when ordering!

This was simply an amazing experience.
