We stayed at Mata N'ativa on our honeymoon in march 2013 and had a wonderful time. The highlights were the proximity to nature, the beautiful tropical garden, the friendly staff and the delicious breakfasts. Over breakfast we could see hummingbirds and monkeys nearby. The holiday was the perfect mix of relaxation and activities. Daniel is an amazing host and was very helpful. The room was very comfortable with lovely touches like fresh flowers and quality soaps and shampoos. It was also great to be able to borrow dvds and watch them from bed. We would highly recommend Mata N'ativa.

Daniel went out of his way to welcome us. The Pousada is great, the room was nice too and breakfast was excellent. One warning is that it's proximity to the beach means it's a bit of a walk into town - not far, but it's 5 minutes up a very steep incline with no lighting. Borrow a torch and you'll be in the Quadrado in no time.

I had a fantastic stay. The pousada is a well oiled operation as Daniel has been running the place for a number of years. Rooms are beautiful, clean and well laid out and they have balconies with the obligatory hammock from which one has a fantastic view of the tropical flora (and the occassional monkey!) in the beautiful gardens. Daniel was a gracious host and nothing was too much trouble. Motorbike rental was arranged with no fuss whatsoever. Breakfast was spectacular. pool very relaxing. Id highly recommend a stay at this beautiful, well run pousada!

A collection of 'bedrroms' set in a lush garden that makes you feel really close to nature. The manager and all the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel has a great little jacuzzi and pool to relax iin. A very tasty breakfast with an array of fresh homemade breads and cakes. Also, a lovely selection of fruit. Also in walking distance to the beach and square.
