I took a Grayline organized all day tour by Schooner to Dos Frades and Itaparica. The sea was rough and the schooner small enough to create some concern. It was a rainy day, that did not help. One side of the boat got so wet that the people had to move. There was live music, drinks (extra charge) and good atmosphere. Upon arriving to the island you have to pay a small fee. While the island is nice, there is not much to see or do. The beach was crowded with plastic chairs, barely could see the sand. After about 3 hours we moved on to the next stop Itaparica, a much better and more interesting location.
