Ramma is one of my favourite restaurants in Salvador. It is touted as a vegetarian restaurant but they do also offer fish and chicken. It is buffet style, where you serve yourself and then weigh your plate, (comida a kilo) where someone notes down what the weight is so you know what to pay at the end.
What I love about this place is that the food is fresh, organic, healthy (this was the only place I ever found brown rice being served) and the choices change daily. The only problem with that is the thing that you ate yesterday that you loved so much you may not find again tomorrow, but that alone is a small sacrifice to make.
They also do a wide range of freshly squeezed juices. Order as soon as you can as they tend to take a while to bring them. On more than one occasion I found myself getting the juice after I had finished my meal.
