It's a bit far from the city center (I took a bus, it was an 1h trip, almost), but it's worth: you can see the sunset by the Negro river, with the sound of frogs and birds and the all the beautiful landscape that the river presents. It's also a park, in which you can find some small restaurants where you can have regional food or beer and French fries, or fried mandioca. Superb place!
Families also come over to take the children for a walk or ride their small bikes :)
