I love soup so this was where we decided to go upon returning from the Amazons. It is a restaurant with soup buffet - nothing but soup, toppings and bread (as suggested by the name). This was fine for me and I actually left full. However, it was not satisfactory enough for my husband. He didn't think it was a proper meal. There were around 12~14 type of soup on offer. Most were quite nice although a little too salty for my liking. The atmosphere, with its opening air seating, was relaxing with many families visiting. The waiting staffs were very efficient in removing finished dishes.
Overall, the cost was reasonable at R20 per person. However, from our hotel in Centro it cost R30 in taxi on the way there and R20 back, which was more than the cost of the meal itself. We didn't think it was worth the trip.
