The tacaca is good. Sour and numb your tongue. But 18 BRL for street stall food is overpriced, or they charged us higher because we are tourist. For the same price you can have the exact same soup in a nice restaurant, the Choupana.

We had the local dish out of cutiosity. It was nice to try, but will not have it again, as it was not my taste. It seems well done. I paid R$17 for a bowl of the soup.

Very friendly staff and just delicious soup. The broth is really tasty, a tangy sweet and sour soup with manioc starch (this might look a bit strange but just stir it until it dissolves to thicken the soup), small shrimp and a local herb that makes your lips and tongue tingle and feel a bit numb for a minute or so (kind of like chilli does but without the heat). We had this every day that we stayed in Manaus.

Very good experience to try a local dish similar to a soup that has shrimp and local herbs that make your tongue numb.
Located at a plaza where you can enjoy the view of the opera House.
