Our trip included the 'meeting of the waters', sunset and sunrise viewing, piranha fishing, caiman hunting and a daytrip in the jungle. We returned with amazing memories from all our boat trips and jungle tours. Yes, we were lucky to see monkeys and pink dolphins! The Amazon Jungle Day Tours is for people looking for active and informative tours in small groups led by excellent guides in a relaxed atmosphere. Great value overall.

We were very much looking forward to our Amazon adventure and travelling with David's company ensured that it was the best part of our Brazil holiday!

Communication with David was so easy and quick. All our questions were answered and we got all the advice we needed in a warm, friendly and helpful manner.

The trip was very well organised, including being picked up from the airport (even though our tour didn't start until the next day).

The explanations provided by David were insightful and informative - including enjoying the spot where the two rivers meet (some companies rush through this part).

We were transported to our Lodge - which was basic yet had everything we we needed for our 2 night / 3 day tour. The bed was comfortable and the toilet facilities (which are private and within the bungalows) were satisfactory for our stay. The towels and mosquito nets were provided which is very handy. There is electricity all the time in the lodge which is very convenient now.

CiCi the lodge's owner was helpful and so was his family. The food is really really good!!

Our guide Cheetan was funny and informative - he kept us well entertained during our 3 days. All the activities are heaps of fun!! Highly recommend a 3 day tour - which is enough time to stay and do all the activities.

Definitely pick the option to stay in the jungle one night and sleep in a hammock. It's safe and there is shelter. You'll end up catching your dinner and cooking it over with a campfire.

Overall - we highly recommend David's tour!! We had a great time!

We were on a day trip with Amazon Jungle Day Tours. We had a lot of fun swimming with the pink dolphins and fishing Piranhas. Sandro, our guide, took us on a hike in the jungle and explained a lot of interesting things about plants and animals to us. We enjoyed the dancing of the Indian tribe, who danced only for us. Sandro tried everything to show us the big water lilies, but it was dry season, so they were gone. Instead we saw a little Alligator and a sloth. Thanks to Amazon Jungle Day Tours we had an amazing day in Manaus.

We booked to do the 3 day, 2 night trek with David and we were so impressed with it all, the transfers were very well organised getting us to the lodge with no waiting around. The lodge was great, we had a triple room with mosquito nets and bathroom staying in a wooden hut which we were more than happy with! The restaurant and meeting room was always open and we could grab a beer whenever we wanted. The food we were served for breakfast, lunch and dinner by Seesey and his lovely family was some of the best we had in Brazil, salad, fish, pasta, chicken, beans, eggs etc, something for everyone and lots of it! We loved the trek, our guide Teto was the greatest, funny, excellent English and could explain everything we wanted to know. He caught a Caymen for us to look at and we saw lots of wildlife, trees, plants and animals and creatures inc monkeys and lots of dolphins. I cannot recommend this trip enough to anyone wanting a natural amazon experience, our only regret was that we were not there longer! Serena, Brendan, Alyson, England.

We advise this company to anyone interested in doing a jungle tour!
David is a very nice and competent guy.
The guide (Matias) was the best we could ever asked and the lodge over my expectations (i was expecting for a room with no eletricity and basic conditions but you will have a quite spacious and nice "wood house" with a bathroom, mosquito nets and a fan. with eletricity 24h and no hot water but you will be glad is cold because is so hot there all the time. do not think about luxury but is clean and confortable)
the oweners of the lodge are very nice people and the food surprisingly good!
Also good is that the groups are small so you can take the most of it!
The only thing I can point as bad, is the price. But unfortunately ALL touristy activities in this area are expensive. Comparing with other companies, David's was the best quality/price, so go ahead and book with amazon jungle tours! You will see nearly everything they say (but think that also depends on the weather and season)
We decided to do the visit to Amazonia long time ago. Was one of my dream tours. So this tour actually fulfilled my expectations and was one of the highlights of my journey of 3months. Maybe try to book it in January to march. There will be more animals to see and more water to cannoe on! But also more mosquitoes... :)
Enjoy!!
