Seeing the Amazon rain forest had been a dream of a lifetime.
I have been on a number of jungle safaris in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa and have enjoyed the fantastic wildlife experience that is unparalleled in the world.
But a visit to the Amazon is something out of the world.
You can see the Amazon by Iberostar, the largest cruise ship on the Amazon river, or you can take the smaller ones with special facilities or else take the low cost travel packages on small boats.
Each of the above provides an unique experience in its own way.
Whether you are on the costliest tour or the cheapest, it is finally the visit to the rain forest that provides the excitement.
Each tour provides it's own program and so one needs to choose carefully.
Seeing the Jaguars, the Anaconda, the Cayman crocodile, the piranha, the sloth and other exotic fauna and flora is the beauty of this tour.
Staying in the jungle lodge is another exciting way to see the rain forest and see how the locals live or coexist with the Amazonian animals.

We did a 4 day 3 night tour of the ĺmazon Brazil Tours was very professional and helpful when booking at the office in Manaus. Our guide Cobra was amazing in all ways and even did some extra trips that were not on the itinery. Both David and Cobra spoke very good English.

The lodge was comfortable with A/C and good plentiful food. The trek through the rainforest, dolphin spotting on the river, seeing the milky way in the sky at night and sleeping in the rainforest in a hammock for one night were some of the highlights.

Overall it felt like a professional and ethical company with well paid and happy staff. Would definitely recommend.

We booked a 5 days Amazon tour with one night at the jungle camp with Elso Lima of Amazon Green. I must say that Elso is probably the best guide for Amazon as he has been born and bought up there and know the jungles very well. He is truly a jungle boy !! He has an excellent knowledge about Amazon and he knows how takes care of his guests. He along with his wife Paula made us very comfortable through the trip.
He kept us occupied all the time with different interesting activities. I would definitely recommend him if you have plan of visiting Amazon !!

What a great experience to visit the amazon rainforest and wake up to the scream of the howler monkeys in the thick and dense rainforest , seeing pink dolphins, snakes, meeting with locals ,alligator spotting and chance to hold them in ur hands because If there is no fear, there is no fun , forest hikes while learning
about the various plants and trees
