This terrific, laid back restaurant and cafe is on the main square of Samaipata. With tables inside, and lots more through into a cool courtyard at the back, its owners Tony (German but learning excellent English) and wife and chef Rosemarie (Bolivian) serve the best ice-cream on the continent, and everything else you could want besides.
Their version of the famous Bolivian dish 'Pique Macho' for two was enough for four and as tasty as it was possible to be.
