The Australian owner is very kind. We had drinks and dinner in this very inviting place. I'd say it's like an oasis in the middle of rather dull Rurre.

Interesting menu with varied choices.

We went into el nomadico after reading great reviews on trip advisor. What everyone was raving about was correct. There was one thing in particular that made my experience here so good and that was the service. I have a severe gluten intolerance and therefore had many questions about the food. All questions were answered by the owner and when he wasn't sure he made an effort to find out. This included ingredients and cooking procedures. I was able to get a gluten free meal with some piece of mind.

Has a great variety of drinks and the coldest beer in town. We didn't try the food but what they were cooking while we were there gave off an amazing aroma.

Really nice bar, with cold white wine and a nice menu. Was great to be somewhere that didn't look like a backpacker hangout or a local place but like a place I might go to at home. It's right in the middle of town but tucked down an alley so you don't get all the traffic noise and dust on the patio but that does make it a little hard to find.

Went based on Trip Advisor reviews and was very impressed.
Located on the main street and set back from the road (look for the sign), there's a nice outdoor courtyard and also inside seating.
The food is first class. The owners are an Australian and his Bolivian wife and I have not had a delicious tender steak or chicken curry like this since leaving Australia 5 months ago!
We were also after a good fix of vegetables and they improvised for us and served a delicious bowl of fresh cauliflower, carrot, broccoli and beans with tasty herbs.
Even the fries were nice and crispy.
Dinner for two with beer and wine and extras was around $25US and well worth the treat.
