It's unexpectedly satisfactory even under rains. There are lot of different flowers including cherries to see and when combining together, they give me a feeling of fairy tale. Thank to the tour train inside the park that we can comfortably look around without getting wet. Highly recommended as this is just a hidden gem.

Hamamatsu Flower Park was very spacious, with trails to walk on and also a train to ride on around the park. It is nicely landscaped with a large fountain and a large greenhouse. A nice day trip for families, during the summer that has free admission only during the summer months. It is very hot in this area in the summer so be prepared.

We went first on the zoo, which was correct. Then, we went to the park, which was a spectacular experience! We were lucky because there were so many opening sakura.

This park is very spacious, with walking trails to enjoy the varieties of flowers. I was here in early April, the tulips were gorgeous - red, pink, yellow, white, orange etc. The park was well maintained. There was a section with beautiful flower sculptures. Next to it was a large greenhouse, with many beautiful flowers. Inside the greenhouse, there were theme gardens such as Bali, Mexico, etc. We spent 1.5 to 2 hours leisurely exploring this place, with many photo shoots. Highly recommended to visit this park.

Getting there - At Hamamatsu bus terminal next to train station, go to bus stop 1 and take bus number 30. Journey is about 45 minutes, 560 yen. Alight at the Flower Park entrance.
