Kuretake Inn Act Hamamatsu
This hotel is just around the corner from the Hamamatsu train station, though far
enough away to not be bothered by the noise of trains. It had a cosy lobby, with ample
room to sit and wait, if needed.
Also on hand were toiletry items for the rooms as well
as coffees, teas, ramen nodles, and other snacks.
Our 'double' room was the smallest we'd ever stayed in. Our twin beds were of a
sufficient size for our 1,77 meter frames, but the space between our beds was about 45
centimeters. There was a small table holder a cooker and a teapot, next to a small
amount of green tea bags. It was a dilemna to try and figure out where to put our large
The whole bathroom is a like prefab plastic unit, which means that it is very small-but-practical,
though its (small) toilet is of the modern 'shower' model (to clean your posterior). The
shower faucet is connect to the sink, whoch means you can only use either one or the
other, but not both.
Our colleagues had single rooms and they had better luck, because their rooms were
the same size as ours, but with only one bed.
